At DIGICON 2022, I built and deployed an interactive AI Art Social Platform that allowed attendees to experience the power of generative AI firsthand. The idea was simple: instead of just talking about AI, let people use it. Visitors could generate their own artwork live during the event using one of the early versions of Stable Diffusion, developed in the lab of Prof. Björn Ommer.
To make this possible, I designed and implemented a complete system—from user interaction to large-scale visual output. At the core was a custom-built frontend, where users could enter prompts and generate AI images in real time. The experience was designed to be intuitive and fast, lowering the barrier for anyone curious about AI art.
But the project went beyond individual interaction:
- Every generated image was stored and published in a live feed داخل the app
- A large public screen displayed newly generated artworks in real time during the event
- Attendees could like images, creating a dynamic, community-driven ranking
- A top feed highlighted the most popular creations
Behind the scenes, image generation was powered by two dedicated backend AI servers, ensuring smooth performance even under high demand.
The result was a shared, interactive experience—blending AI, art, and social interaction into a live exhibition. Instead of a passive demo, the platform turned DIGICON into a collaborative creative space where every participant became part of the show.
